What can a shop show on its page?
Your featured products and offers, not necessarily every item on the shelves: this week's deals, new arrivals, festive packs, or the services you offer such as free home delivery above a bill amount. Prices can be exact or read “From ₹99”.
Customers at home can tap “Ask on WhatsApp” beside a product to check if it's in stock before they come, with the product already named in the message.
How does a shop loyalty card work?
Customers join from the QR code at the counter. When they pay, your staff scan the card on their phone and add a stamp for every ₹500 spent, or whatever rule you set. At 8 stamps they get 10% off their next bill. It brings families back to you instead of the shop down the road.
Refer a friend works especially well for neighbourhood shops: a customer shares a link, their friend gets a welcome offer on their first bill, and the customer gets a reward once the friend has shopped.
Do I still need WhatsApp Business?
Keep it for chats with customers who have your number. The QR page is for everyone else: people in the shop, people walking past the window, and anyone you share the link with on Instagram or in your WhatsApp status.
A typical shop page
Shops usually start with:
- Featured products and offers, in sections like Groceries, Festive packs or Mobiles.
- Stamp card: 1 stamp per ₹500 spent, 10% off after 8.
- Refer a friend for word of mouth.
- Google review invitations and replies.
- A QR card at the counter and a sticker in the window.
